Job Overview:

The Area Trade Industry Inside Sales Support is a remote role responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer service support to the sales team within the trade industry sector. This position involves collaborating with various internal departments, assisting in lead generation, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment processes. This position will cover Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support:
• Assist the sales team with quotes, proposals, and order processing.
• Handle incoming customer inquiries related to product details, pricing, and availability.
• Provide detailed product information and recommendations to clients based on their needs.
• Monitor and manage customer orders from initial inquiry to delivery.
• Track and follow up on open sales opportunities to ensure timely closure.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers by addressing inquiries and providing timely solutions.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner and escalate to the appropriate department as needed.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy of sales orders and deliveries.
3. Sales Data and Reporting:
• Maintain and update sales databases, ensuring all client interactions and sales opportunities are accurately logged.
• Generate sales reports for the management team, including sales forecasts, customer trends, and order status.
• Analyze customer data and provide insights to optimize sales strategies and customer engagement.
4. Product Knowledge & Industry Trends:
• Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge on product pricing, availability, and specifications to accurately support the sales process.
• Provide internal teams with feedback about customer needs and industry developments.
5. Administrative Support:
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Prepare and process sales documentation such as sales orders, quotes, and invoices.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and liaise with the warehouse team for product availability.
6. Collaboration & Teamwork:
• Work closely with other departments (marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales goals and overall business targets.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the sales process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer support, or a related administrative role in the trade or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of the trade industry or similar industries is a plus.

Job Type – Full Time

Hourly Pay - $20/hr. plus 3% commission
