Quality assurance technicians perform skilled mechanical maintenance, alteration, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

Job Summary:

High-level knowledge diagnostic skillset for mechanical maintenance inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage stress, difficult or emotional customer situations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
  • Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and accurately.
  • Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
  • Perform skilled maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed.
  • Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic and all recommended repairs.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • EPA/TDLR/HVAC Certification
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • 2yrs experience of high-level diagnostics
  • Clean driving record
  • Time management skills
  • Basic software understanding

Physical Work Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
  • Activities involve attics and crawl spaces, being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in heat temperature and humidity occur daily.
